Come share a drink with podcasters and listeners and talk about podcasting. For our next meetup, we'll talk about how to choose a topic for a podcast and how to develop it.
The meeting will be held at Sergent Recruteur. Do not be shy to search the restaurant since we will have the private dining room dedicated for this event.

What is it? Who is behind it?
What is PodMtl?
PodMtl is a gathering of podcasters, listeners and anyone that is interested in this new phenomenon that is podcasting. The event is open to everyone and is occuring every months.
Podcastwha?
Podcasting is a way to transmit audio or video content on the web, through RSS feeds. Listeners can subscribe to a show (usually called a podcast) by adding the RSS feed address in a content agregator (a software, like iTunes or Juice) to get the latest podshow automatically, as soon as they are available.
Why Montreal?
For a pure geographical reason, the event will occur in or in the area of Montreal. It is open to montrealers and foreigners as well.

Bob Goyetche
He and Mark Blevis are cohosting the Canadian Podcast Buffet, a show about the podcasting scene. They are also founders or the Podcasters Across Borders, an annual meetup that draws a large crowd.
Sylvain Grand'Maison
He is the main guy behind PodMtl. He host le Québec en Baladodiffusion, a show dedicated to the Quebec podcasting scene.
Laurent LaSalle
He host the Headphones required / Mets tes écouteurs podcast, a show dedicated to music discovery.
